Optional PostHog internal analysis
Updated 15 September 2026. Statistics consent alone does not enable this option. If you separately select internal journey analysis and save your choice, we use a random browser identifier on this website to count repeat activity, broad interactions and a form start followed by an observed successful submission within 24 hours. This is internal website analysis, not advertising targeting or evidence of a booking. Refusing it does not affect your enquiry.
The local-storage entries seo_control_ph_journey_choice_v1 and seo_control_ph_journey_id_v1 expire 30 days after your explicit choice. Normal visits do not extend them. Each website has its own identifier; we do not match you across our websites or devices. Linked events use only broad home, contact, legal or other-content categories and fixed interaction/form labels, without names, contact details, exact URLs, treatment choices, message contents or files. PostHog EU Cloud processes these events in Frankfurt. This choice does not enable or link recordings. Separately approved, masked replay operates after current Statistics consent using memory-only identity, as described above. Automatic capture, person profiles and advertising exports remain disabled.
We analyse a rolling period of up to 12 months. Browser expiry or withdrawal stops future linkage and clears the local identifier; it does not delete earlier server events. PostHog documents one year of event storage on Free plans and seven years on paid plans, with deletion enforcement rolling out separately. Our project settings do not expose their event-retention or enforcement values, so we cannot promise automatic deletion at one year. See PostHog event retention.
To withdraw, reopen Cookie settings or Manage cookies, untick internal journey analysis and save; rejecting Statistics also withdraws it. To request access or deletion, use the privacy contact shown in this policy and mention PostHog internal analysis. We will assess the request and coordinate with PostHog where needed; we may be unable to locate anonymous events once their random browser identifier is no longer available. Withdrawal is not a completed server-erasure request. Do not send dental records or other health information for an analytics request.

Who we are
EU Dental Tourism is a dental referral and coordination service, not a dental clinic. We receive enquiries and help coordinate communication about possible treatment in Bucharest. For privacy questions or rights requests, email contact@eudentaltourism.co.uk or call +40 727 506 445.
What we collect
When you contact us by form, email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, contact details, treatment interest, messages and optional dental photos, X-rays or other records. Dental information and images can reveal health information and are treated as special category data.
Why we use it
We use ordinary contact information to answer your enquiry, keep a record of the conversation and coordinate next steps you request. We use optional dental information only to understand the enquiry and, after a clinic is identified and you separately agree to the sharing, to arrange a preliminary clinical review. EU Dental Tourism does not diagnose you or create the final treatment plan.
Legal basis
We use your consent to handle an enquiry you choose to send. For dental information and images, the form asks for a separate, unticked statement of explicit consent. You may withdraw consent by contacting us. Withdrawal does not make earlier processing unlawful, and we may retain limited information where it is needed to document the withdrawal, resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation.
Sharing
The website and email providers process information to host the site and deliver messages. If you choose WhatsApp, that service processes your communication under its own terms and privacy information. We do not automatically send dental images or health details to a clinic. We identify the intended clinic before asking for your separate agreement to share that information for clinical review. The clinic is responsible for explaining how it will use information it receives. We do not sell personal data or provide enquiry contents to advertisers.
International handling
An enquiry may involve handling information in the United Kingdom and Romania. Before health information is sent to a Romanian clinic, we identify the recipient and explain the intended sharing so you can decide whether to agree.
How long we keep it
We keep information only while it is needed for the active enquiry, any introduction or follow-up you request, consent evidence, a complaint or dispute, and applicable record-keeping duties. When none of those reasons applies, the information is deleted or anonymised. You may ask which retention criteria apply to your enquiry.
Cookies and analytics
With your Statistics consent, Google Analytics 4, PostHog and Microsoft Clarity may measure use of this website. We do not supply contact-form fields, dental information, message text or uploaded files to these services. Optional measurement stays off until consent and stops when consent is withdrawn.
Google Analytics 4 receives the adapter's neutral page location and title with reviewed page-view, contact-button and form-outcome events. Google may also process automatically collected device, browser, network, session and engagement information according to the verified property settings and its privacy information. It may set _ga cookies containing pseudonymous browser identifiers. The site adapter lets the GA4 configuration send the initial page view once and disables Google Signals and advertising personalisation. GA4 operates only after current Statistics consent. Enhanced Measurement is enabled for page changes, scrolls, outbound clicks, site search, videos, downloads and form interactions; these automatic signals are separate from the verified successful-enquiry event.
PostHog receives reviewed interaction events and may provide masked session replay after current Statistics consent. Replay helps us understand navigation, scrolling and time on the page. All text and element attributes are masked; forms, inputs, uploaded files, images and embedded content are blocked. Console logs, network headers and bodies, canvas recording, autocapture, person profiles, surveys, heatmaps and performance capture remain disabled. Exact URLs, query strings, titles and referrers are excluded; only broad page categories and recognised, non-personal campaign codes are retained. Replay uses memory-only identity and is not linked by the optional internal-analysis identifier, so recordings may be separate for each page. Recording retention is 30 days. Recording stops when Statistics consent is withdrawn. The separate internal-analysis choice below enables a 30-day identifier for reviewed interaction events, not for recordings or advertising exports.
Microsoft Clarity provides masked session replay and interaction measurement. It processes page URLs and device or interaction telemetry. The site masks form controls, page text and element attributes, and does not send enquiry submissions to Clarity. Clarity operates only after current Statistics consent, within the approved URL and masked-replay scope.
With Marketing consent, Meta and Microsoft Advertising may receive reviewed page-view, contact-button or successful-enquiry outcomes. The adapter does not supply enquiry contents, form fields, dental information or uploaded files. Google ad user data and ad personalisation remain denied. Provider scripts may receive ordinary browser and network context under their own privacy terms.
ChatGPT Ads conversion measurement
Updated 7 September 2026. With your Marketing consent, this website can send OpenAI the fact that a WhatsApp or email button was clicked. A click does not mean a message was sent or an enquiry was received. Measurement is separate from the information you choose to send us.
Our server sends only the generic click-event name, a random event identifier, the event time, this website’s home address and, when available after consent, the OpenAI ad-click reference. We do not send form contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers, uploaded files, health information, treatment-page addresses, page titles, referrers or your browser IP address or user agent. The OpenAI browser SDK and automatic customer-data matching are not used. Each event is opted out of future user-level personalisation.
If an OpenAI ad-click reference is available after consent, the first-party pfa_cg_oppref cookie can retain it for up to 30 days for attribution. It is removed when Marketing consent is withdrawn. We retain aggregate delivery counters and the latest delivery time/status, plus short-lived local duplicate-prevention and abuse-control records; no enquiry or customer record is attached. OpenAI processes received conversion events under its applicable privacy terms, including any international processing described there.
Use the website’s cookie controls to decline or withdraw Marketing consent. The website, email, WhatsApp links and enquiry form still work. No pre-consent clicks are replayed. See OpenAI’s privacy policy for its data handling and rights information.
Optional ChatGPT enquiry measurement
Updated 10 September 2026. Separately from button-click measurement, you can optionally agree on our enquiry form to measure a successful submission. Both that unticked choice and current Marketing consent are required. The form works without either permission.
After a successful submission and email handoff, our server sends OpenAI a generic lead-created event, a random event identifier, time, this website’s home address and an available consented OpenAI ad-click reference. This may indicate an interest in dental services. We do not send your answers, treatment choice, contact details, files, clinical page path, IP address or browser user agent. We do not use customer matching or the OpenAI browser SDK, and events are opted out of future user-level personalisation. Email handoff does not prove inbox delivery, a booked appointment or a qualified patient enquiry.
We retain aggregate delivery counters and a 15-minute local duplicate-prevention record. No clinical information or submitted-data hash is sent to OpenAI. Decline or withdraw Marketing consent using Cookie settings to stop future measurement; the form’s separate choice applies only to that submission. The OpenAI processing and privacy information in the preceding section also applies.

Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of your information. You may also withdraw consent. Contact us using the details above. If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. You may also contact the authority where you live or where you believe a problem occurred.
Required and optional information
For a non-health general question, email contact@eudentaltourism.co.uk instead of using the web form. The web form is for dental enquiries and requires the explicit health-data consent displayed before submission. In that form, your name, email address and treatment interest are required so we can respond; messages, phone numbers and files are optional.
Automated decisions and marketing
We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects using automated profiling. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
